Honest Talk about “Work from Home” Opportunities

Hey, I’m Alice! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

The purpose of this site is too offer some open & honest discussion about “work from home” and “online income” opportunities. There’s a lot of stuff out there! Some of it’s B.S., but some of it offers a legitimate opportunity for you to make some extra income.

A bit about me:

{I don’t like to define myself by my j.o.b. We are so much more than our jobs right? But I can’t think of anything witty to put here instead, so until then…here are my usual stats…}

  • I’m a mom of one awesome 6 year old girl
  • I graduated from Princeton with a degree in Operations Research. I currently work in Risk management for consumer finance company (& I really like my job)
  • My favorite movies are The Five Heartbeats & Goodfellas
  • My favorite books are Atlas Shrugged and the Autobiography of Malcolm X

I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything – real estate investing (I have a rental property, am familiar with tax sales, wholesaled a couple properties, & formerly had my real estate license), network marketing, internet & affiliate marketing, e-commerce, you name it. I believe in having multiple streams of income.

I don’t claim to be an expert, but I have invested a good amount of time and money in my education on these various topics & have put quite a bit of it into practice. For those starting out – I would advise to focus your energy on 1 or 2 income streams.

Read, Share & Comment!

I have one piece of advice. If you’re ambition like me, it’s probably easy to become dissatisfied or feel stagnant if you haven’t achieved a certain level of income or a certain amount of “success” (whatever that means). But remember – You should never deny yourself happiness waiting until the time you have officially “arrived.”  In fact, you should never “arrive.” The fun is in the challenge. The success is in the learning. The joy is in the journey!

Quotes I love:

“The reason I amassed such a colossal fortune is not that money interested me so much. It was a way to show men and women of little faith the power of the mind.”

“Being Realistic is the Most Commonly Traveled Road to Mediocrity”

“I refuse to die without having had the courage to do what I wanted to do. I don’t want to die with the appalling thought that society tricked me, that it got the better of me and annihilated my dreams. You must not die with the dreadful feeling that your fears were greater than your dreams and that you never discovered what you really enjoy. You must know how to dare.”

Thank-you
